Reset – Do What You Know To Do
We all have been in situations where we have relapsed. We fell off of the proverbial wagon and returned to behavior that we forsook for a better way of life. Whatever the reason – temptation, pride, weakness, etc. we decided go against our better judgement and not follow our plan.
This can happen with money management. We can purchase items not on our budget or spending plan – things we used to purchase before we got on a plan to turn our money lives around. Before we know it, we are spending more than we make and do not have enough money for our planned expenses. It can happen before we know what happened. It can leave us feeling like a failure.
However, your slip up does not mean failure. You do not have to give up. All you have to do is reset and get back on track. You already know what to do. You did it before, and you can do it again. Look at your budget/spending plan. Make any necessary adjustments and spend only according to your plan. It may take one or two cycles but before you know it you will be back on track. Failure is not final. All you need to do is reset. You can do it! All the best.
